Making the Move

Lisa Brown, Office Manager at Phoenix quickly gained a much-valued benefit after implementation, by streamlining the company’s payroll processes. “The fact that timecards are now electronic and all in the system saves so much time. No more tracking down employee files and paper copies — it’s all at your fingertips. I’m also able to easily pull certified payroll and workers comp reports. We used to have to estimate our worker’s comp totals. Now, with accurate and timely information, I have the ability to correctly forecast our costs. AIA reports are also done easily now — all the information is in the system and readily available.”
ProContractor has also provided Phoenix a wide variety of reports that offer insight into data like they never had before with Management Suite. “There are several areas in which improved reporting has helped us run a more efficient operation,” noted Brown. “I can create reports for our management team that have comprehensive sets of data or just a slice of that data — you can have as little or as much information as you like. Also, we have up to 10 reoccurring monthly invoices that had to be created manually every time. Now, all the information needed is in the system and I can generate them automatically. This and not having to manually cut checks easily saves me about two hours a month."
Additionally, Brown noted, “I like that I can easily customize forms for specific vendors so they receive the exact information they need. It eliminates the back and forth that used to occur and time to payment is reduced.”
