Morgan Ashurst uses Viewpoint For Projects™ for easy-to-use communications on Radcliffe NHS LIFT Primary Care Centre project.

In February 2007, construction company Morgan Ashurst began work on the Radcliffe Primary Care Centre which is part of the Bury Tameside and Glossop LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trust) scheme. The NHS LIFT scheme is a Public Private Partnership, a joint venture between the NHS, Partnerships for Health, the Department of Health, and public shareholders. It was established to deliver better quality health services closer to where patients live.

The £45 million Bury Tameside and Glossop LIFT project will include the development of the £10.5 million Radcliffe Primary Care Trust. The primary care centre will offer a 15 GP surgery, a dental practice, and a range of other health and social care facilities.

The Bury Tameside and Glossop LIFT scheme is also set to include an additional two new primary care centres along with the modernisation of two health centres in Bury and three new primary care centres in Tameside and Glossop. Morgan Ashurst decided to use Viewpoint For Projects™, impressed with the ease of use of the online collaboration solution and the level of support offered.

Viewpoint For Projects has been used to bring a number of the LIFT projects through work on site to a financial close. In particular, the drawings, task, and discussion capabilities have provided significant benefits throughout the scheme project. The task feature was used to manage RFIs and the discussion tool was used to replace email and improve communication links.
