Newcastle Business in Seventh Heaven After Award Win
Viewpoint nabs honours for Collaboration Software of the Year and Mobile Product of the Year at Construction Computing Awards
PORTLAND, OREGON – 28 November 2017 – Staff at BIM and collaborative construction software supplier, Viewpoint, are celebrating after winning a prestigious industry award for the seventh successive year.
The Newcastle-based software company won the Collaboration Software of the Year award for the seventh time at the Construction Computing Awards and also scooped a second accolade on the night after winning Mobile Product of the Year award for its digital construction platform Field View.
The news comes just weeks after Viewpoint reported record financial results.
Boosted by a 99-percent customer retention rate, Viewpoint saw sales grow 30-percent year-on-year from £11.5m in 2015 to £15.1m in 2016. Over the same time period Viewpoint recorded a £2.5m profit in its financial year ending December 2016 compared to a loss of £395,000 in 2015.

Viewpoint won the awards at the 12th annual Construction Computing Awards at The Radisson Blu Edwardian in Bloomsbury, London on Thursday, November 16.
