How We Support You
Paid Time off and Holidays
Viewpoint provides the following leaves in accordance with Australian labor laws:
- Paid Annual Leave accrues at a rate of 13.59 hours at the end of each month
- Paid Personal / Carer's Leave accrues at a rate of 7.7 hours at the end of each month
Viewpoint also provides the following: Unpaid Carer's Leave, Paid Compassionate Leave, Unpaid Compassionate Leave, and up to 12 months of unpaid parental leave (with a right to request a further 12 months of unpaid parental leave in certain circumstances).
Viewpoint offers scheduled holidays each year which may vary depending on the dates when holidays fall, the employee’s work schedule, and their location. The normal allotment of paid holidays for Australian employees consists of the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Australia Day
- Labour Day
- Good Friday
- The Saturday before Easter Sunday
- Easter Monday
- ANZAC Day
- Queen's Birthday
- Melbourne Cup Day
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
Viewpoint contributes 9% of an eligible Australian employee’s “ordinary time earnings” to a complying super fund of their choice four times a year.
Viewpoint will pay up to $3,000 USD annually toward education expenses for non-graduate-level approved courses or $5,250 USD annually toward education expenses for graduate-level approved courses meeting criteria satisfactorily with completion of 6 months of full-time employment in good standing.
