Viewpoint Announces 2019 Best Construction Companies to Work for Winners During Collaborate User Conference

Submissions Highlighted Retention Rates, Benefits Offered, Company Values and Availability of Employee Self-Service Technology Solutions

PORTLAND, Ore. – October 2, 2019 – Viewpoint, a Trimble Company (NASDAQ: TRMB) and construction management software leader, today announced the winners of the 2019 Best Construction Companies to Work for Awards. Winners were selected from 268 submissions based on how criterion around retention rates, benefits offered and availability of employee self-service technology solutions – all aimed at keeping respected and tenured employees.

The labor shortage remains one of the largest challenges facing the construction industry. Viewpoint is recognizing great work by contractors to support the need for a new influx of construction professionals. With an aging workforce and the battle to attract and retain talent, companies are actively adopting measures to improve traditional and non-traditional benefits, while also providing greater transparency.

The winner and finalists are as follows:

• Winner – Adolfson & Peterson Construction – selected for, among many other reasons, supplemental programs such as community service opportunities and continued education programs. Their high employee retention rates are a testament to the benefits, new technology and overall work-life balance they provide for their employees, giving it top honors as the best construction company to work for in 2019.
• Finalist – SDB Contracting Services – selected because of the significant longevity among their employee base, something they attribute to the atmosphere of kindness and respect they forward across their organization.
• Finalist – Duggan Contracting Services – selected because of their high retention rate, commitment to an overall positive and supportive work environment and the innovative ways they are attracting new talent.
