How We Support You

Health Care

Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription: Viewpoint offers two great health plans and one dental plan in order to provide our team members with as much flexibility and choice in their healthcare as possible. Both medical plans are bundled with vision and pharmacy coverage.

Flexible Spending Plans for Medical, Dependent Care, and Transportation Expenses: Regardless of which health plan our team members choose, they also have the option to participate in Viewpoint’s Flexible Spending Account (FSA) programs. These programs offer a tax savings by allowing the opportunity to save money pre-tax for qualified expenses!

Paid Time off and Holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO: includes vacation and sick time): Having sufficient time to rest and recharge is key to a happy and productive workplace. To that end, Viewpoint has developed a PTO program that offers our team flexibility and control when making the decision to take time away from the office for vacation, illness, or anything else life might throw at them.

New employees receive 21 days (168 hours) of PTO per year, prorated in their first year based on hire date. After one year of service, employees are granted 1 additional day (8 hours) of PTO per year each January 1, up to a maximum of 31 days.

Holidays: Holidays are a time for friends, family, and fun. We know those special times with our loved ones are important, so we provide all US employees with 9 scheduled holidays and 2 floating holidays each year, for a total of 11 days.

The Perks

Being a Viewpoint team member has its perks, no matter which location our team members call home. Below is just a glimpse of some of the perks we offer in our US headquarters in Portland, Oregon, but as a company with team members across the US and around the world, we are committed to providing a fair and competitive total rewards program at all levels, in all locations.

Contemporary workspaces. Our Portland headquarters is made up of two state of the art LEED-certified buildings located across the street from each other on the banks of the Willamette River. Meanwhile, our two-building Seattle campus is nestled into a wooded neighborhood just north of the iconic Seattle waterfront, and features a creek that runs through the property.

Strong mind. Strong body. Our Portland office is home an onsite fitness center complete with instructor-led yoga classes, and regular massage opportunities.

Pedal power. Biking to work is encouraged, and we have amenities to support the habit! Bike lockers, a bike repair station, and indoor bike storage are all provided for our cycling commuters.

Ride for free. Viewpoint not only provides our team members with great work environment, but also with a way to get there. Our Portland team can ride the bus, streetcar, or light rail anywhere, anytime with a company-paid annual TriMet pass.

Edible energy. We have onsite markets vending healthy food options, plus we have a variety of fresh fruit available at no cost to our team all week long, in all office locations. We even splurge a little with an additional treat on Fridays!

Part of a community. We are a committed, entrepreneurial, resilient group of people, and as much as we are focused on achieving success, we are also enthusiastic about recognizing our victories. At Viewpoint, we believe in celebrating our team’s accomplishments and enjoying time with our colleagues during our annual holiday parties (each location has one), chili cook-off, and a myriad of other social events throughout the year.

Security and Peace of Mind

Life and Accidental Death/Dismemberment Insurance: Viewpoint provides all employees eligible for benefits with a group term life and ADD policy – at no cost!

Voluntary Life Insurance: Our team members also have the chance to purchase additional voluntary life benefits for themselves, their spouses, and their children.

Disability Insurance: If our employees need to be out of the office for an extended period of time due to illness or injury, our disability benefits will help cover a portion of their salary while they are unable to work.

Employee Assistance Program: The EAP is a free, confidential service that can assist our team members and their family members with challenges that could interfere with day-to-day personal or professional life. This service provides telephone consultation and/or in-person sessions to assist in gaining referral to services such as mental health or substance abuse professionals, legal resources, financial services, and adoption support, just to name a few!

Planning for the Future

401(k) Plan: We want to help our team members save for the golden years. That’s why each Viewpoint employee is automatically enrolled in our 401(k) plan, complete with a healthy employer match.

Educational Assistance: Viewpoint encourages its team to continue learning and growing. When they’re ready to take their careers to the next level, Viewpoint has an educational assistance plan to help them reach their goals!
