Manolis Kotzabasakis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Manolis Kotzabasakis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Manolis Kotzabasakis serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Viewpoint, joining in August 2015. Kotzabasakis comes to Viewpoint from AspenTech, the world leader in software that optimizes complex production processes for the oil & gas, chemical and construction industries. During his 18 years with AspenTech, Kotzabasakis held several executive positions including Marketing & Strategy, Worldwide Sales Operations and most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, Research & Development, where he led the creation of AspenTech's technical/scientific vision and strategy on a global basis.

Kotzabasakis manages and drives Viewpoint’s world-wide operations to best meet the growing and progressive technology needs of the construction and capital projects industries.

Kotzabasakis holds PhD and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering fromthe University of Manchester, UK, and a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He was an associate professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in the United Kingdom from 1987 to 1992.

Kelly Lang, Chief Financial Officer

Kelly Lang, Chief Financial Officer

Kelly joined Viewpoint in November 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for building strong business strategies that drive profitable growth as well as diverse and strategic teams. Kelly brings over 25 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with publically traded, venture-backed, and private equity companies.

Armed with a BA in Business Administration from Seattle University, Kelly began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse LLP).

Kelly was most recently Vice President and CFO for Tripwire, a high growth international cybersecurity software developer. Kelly has also served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Merix Corporation, and was the VP Corporate Controller and Treasurer at Schnitzer Steel. Over the years Kelly has held a variety of financial management roles including VP of Capital Investments and Business Integration, VP of Finance, and Manager of Strategic Analysis.

Matt Harris, Senior Vice President of Products

Matt Harris, Senior Vice President of Products

Matt is responsible for driving Viewpoint’s overall product strategy and roadmap, ensuring they address the real-world business issues construction professionals face every day. Matt previously served as VP of Strategy and Corporate Development and was responsible for Viewpoint’s strategic growth initiatives. Before joining Viewpoint in 2011, he lived and worked in Holland and led, as VP and General Manager, the highest growth division at FEI Company, a publicly traded global leader in nanotechnology innovations. Prior to his GM role he helped to reshape FEI’s strategy as its VP of Global Strategy and Business Development. In addition to Strategy, M&A, and Operational executive roles with Planar Systems, and Netscape, he began his career with General Electric in a technical leadership program. Matt has engineering and psychology degrees from Cornell and his MBA from Stanford University, and enjoys the bounties of Oregon with his wife and two boys.

Joanna Nikka, Chief Human Resources Officer

Joanna Nikka, Chief Human Resources Officer

Joanna is responsible for overseeing and delivering human resource services for the global organization. She comes to Viewpoint from Aspen Tech where she was responsible for designing and implementing its global organizational management practices. For the past several decades, Joanna has also held multiple executive level HR positions for technology companies such as Analog Devices and Millipore Corporation. Joanna received her BA degree from University College Dublin in Ireland and her MBA from Babson College.

Alun Baker, GM / Managing Director Europe, Middle East, Africa

Alun Baker, GM / Managing Director Europe, Middle East, Africa

Alun Baker brings 25 years of International Senior and Executive Management experience from across the IT Software marketplace. Alun joined Viewpoint’s 4Projects team in March 2014 from Procurian (Accenture), a global leading BPO Company, where, as Managing Director of EMEA, he was instrumental in the successful acquisition by Accenture in 2013.

Previously he has held various Executive roles typically running EMEA in Technology infrastructure companies such as TIBCO Software and Datasynapse, and as Director or SVP in ERP Software companies such as JBA, Oracle and Intentia/Lawson where there was heavy emphasis on the manufacturing and construction markets. Additionally Alun spent 12 years as a non-executive Chairman of two stellar growth International infrastructure and BPO companies: Company-I (Acquired by Symantec Corp in 2007) and Citihub.

Alun is passionate about helping and encouraging young people in their careers, one epiphany later Alun built a social network called WYGU to help young people get better career guidance globally, which as part of the ‘Big Society Network’, Alun has spent a few sessions lobbying the UK government trying to drive change in this area.

Alun attended The University of Wales, Swansea, where he earned a Joint Honors BA in Economics and Economic Geography.

Ian Desbrow, Managing Director, ANZ

Ian Desbrow, Managing Director, ANZ

Ian joined Viewpoint as Managing Director, ANZ, bringing both local insight and global vision to this position. Ian has more than 20 years experience in enterprise management and technology with sales, consulting, finance and human resources disciplines across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Ian’s focus is to drive growth and implement programs and processes which support a superior experience for customers, prospects and employees.

Ian was the former CEO of Jobpac, and prior was Managing Director of INFOR Global Systems, Pacific Region, the third largest ERP company in the world. These are underpinned by senior management roles at Lawson Software, Oracle, PeopleSoft and MINCOM.

Kevin McKay, Vice President, Operations

Kevin McKay, Vice President, Operations

Kevin is responsible for overseeing North American and Australian customer support, as well as the professional and learning services teams. He brings to Viewpoint decades of experience in running industry-leading, efficient, and strong client services teams; most recently at Tripwire Inc., Kevin was responsible for Professional Services, technical support, product renewals, HR, IT, and legal.

Jennifer Allison, General Counsel

Jennifer Allison, General Counsel

Jennifer has extensive experience in both employment and business law with a focus on fostering a business environment where ethics and integrity are held as core values. Most recently, she was General Counsel for Tripwire and was known for achieving results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, providing solutions-oriented legal advice and collaborating with Sales and Finance teams to ensure timely and predicable revenue recognition. Prior, Jennifer was Assistant General Counsel and Director of Corporate Compliance & Human Resources at EthicsPoint (now Navex Global) where she helped establish the first in house legal department for the start-up software company.

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Portland State University and her Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School. During Law School, she focused primarily on employment law and had the honor of clerking for Justice R. William Riggs at the Oregon Supreme Court.
